Not so New to North Newton!

Second week in, and as I say, I'm very impressed by the planning this team are doing. Some really interesting ideas this week, well done.!

I was really pleased with this. The boy who did it had worked very hard during the session, and I like this simple idea.

And this super animation is just great. Done on ABCya animation program.

First Steps in Stop Motion - Hambridge University Take 2

Most of the animations this week I decided I would wait for the students to put together this week, but there were a few excellent pieces of work already created.

This project took the students a long time to plan and put together. I wasn't sure about the content! but I was pleased to see so much discussion and ideas that were passed between the two students. In the end we were worried that all was lost, but I found their original photos and put it together. Well done.

Because it is a very slow process to draw each frame we only had a few, so I played with different ways of putting the frames together. Faster, and repeated, above, or slower, but once only, below...

I'm really looking forward to putting up the other films they've made

Fantastic Animations

Here are the first 'doodling' animations from our second Hambridge University class:

really...?

And a first try with the camera. Good attempt, though I think a tripod would make it even better...

And then in the after school club this was created! One of the best, I think. Simple, and effective:

and to help remember for hte next session...a play-doh crab. Very clever. I wish I could make things like that.

Kyle's Webpage

Kyle has been working on this for a few weeks - we've come to an agreement, and I'm pleased to put this up...

This is me...again!!!

I've had another fantastic group at Hambridge, and we've tried out 'This is me'. They are really imaginative - well done everyone!

Here are all the wonderful web pages - I've had to adjust these to put them online - so any mistakes - it might be me!! There are a few missing sounds and images, but that's what you get for having to do SATs!

Very sad, :(, just can't get this working today. To do with Java, I think, but I need to read up on it. I'll keep trying... Here are the brilliant Scratch games the children have begun developing... Ben's shark attack
